At around 6:46 P.M. EDT, a tornado touched down in downtown Milan . It was going NE at 20 MPH. The tornado strengthened to EF2 damage as the tornado ripped off a roof in a condominium. The tornado stopped. Then grew to 0.72 miles wide. Then was racing at the interstate at an average speed of 59 MPH. The tornado strengthened to EF4 status at it demolished cars and the interstate.

Then the tornado made a left turn and destroyed a daycare. 29 kids died and >200 injured.

The tornado strengthened to EF5 as it demolished 1,000 homes in Saline- Ann Arbor.

the tornado grew to 2.73 miles wide as the tornado strengthened and grew in size. Then the tornado destroyed many schools and hospitals. The tornado then grew to EF6 and 4.49 miles wide. It left a trail of destruction in its path. The tornado weakened to EF5 as it hit a full hospital. Killing 48 and injuring 1,393. Then the tornado re-strengthened to EF6 as it hit businesses and buildings. Killing and injuring many more.

The tornado also killed 10 storm chasers. The tornado crossed into dexter-Chelsea killing >20 people and destroying over 13,000 homes. Finally, The tornado dissipated at 7:21 P.M. EDT
