The 2021 Alberta Tornado Outbreak was a major and destructive Tornado Outbreak that resulted in over 100 fatalities, most of which occurred during the Calgary Tornado (EF3). It was the costliest and most destructive Tornado Outbreak in Canada's history. There were 61 confirmed tornadoes in a 50-hour time-frame. 40 of which reached EF1 status, 12 reached EF2 status, 7 reached EF3 Status, 4 reached EF4 status and 2 reached EF5 status. 30 tornadoes caused minor damage, 15 caused moderate damage, and 7 caused major damage. The most notable tornadoes were the Calgary Tornado (EF3), the Medicine Hat Tornado (EF4), the Banff Tornado (EF5), the Lethbridge Tornado (EF3), and the Edmonton Tornado (EF1).
