A funnel cloud touched down and later became a low-end EF0 in the Texas portion of Texhoma before merging into the next listed tornado.
EF5 Kerrick-Stratford-Texhoma tornado[]
A funnel cloud formed over Kerrick, TX and just after touching down rapidly intensified from a low-end EF0 to a high-end EF4 in northern Stratford. The strong, now EF5 tornado then steered north and later arrived in Texhoma. Texhoma was then extremely devastated, and it merged with the EF0 Texhoma tornado to intensify 50 mph and reach it's peak. Kerrick-Stratford-Texhoma tornado: Weakening and absorption[]
Shortly after it's arrival in Goodwell, the tornado rapidly weakened to an EF4 but still delivered devastating damage. The tornado then began to weaken from EF3 to EF2 and later an EF1 before coming back up as a funnel cloud. However, before the funnel cloud could completely come up, another funnel cloud came up and absorbed it, which later failed to form and died out.
