The 2265 Florida Tornado Outbreak was a deadly, destructive, and catastrophic tornado outbreak that effected Central Florida on July 9, 2265. In all, 7,892 deaths occurred, along with 61,321 injuries, and $90 billion (2265 USD) in damages.

On the morning of July 9, the NWS issued a 100% chance for a tornado and a 60% for a violent tornado as a low-pressure system, aligned with a jet stream pulled over the Gulf of Mexico and aligned itself over Central Florida and Southwestern Florida.

At 11 AM EST, tornado watches were issued for Citrus, Sumter, Marion, Lake, Hernando, Polk, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Hardee, Sarasota, Desoto, Charlotte, Lee, and Collier counties.

By 11:30 AM EST, a tornado warning was issued for Citrus, Marion and Sumter counties, and by noon, a tornado warning was issued for Lake, Polk, and Pinellas counties. In addition, a tornado watch was issued for Volusia, Flagler, Brevard, Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties.

At 12:15 PM EST, a tornado warning was the issued for Volusia, Flagler, Brevard, Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties. At the same time, a tornado watch was issued for Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Broward, Highlands, and Okeechobee counties. A tornado warning was then issued for Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Broward, Highlands, and Okeechobee counties.

In all, 65 tornadoes touched down over a hour span. The first tornado was an EF1 north of Leesburg, and the last tornado was an EF0 near Estero. In all, $25.45 billion (2265 USD) in damages. In addition, 7,892 deaths occurred, along with 61,321 injuries.
