this is a wip by vesta, but feel free to add your own tornadoes

The September 1-10, 2021 tornado outbreak sequence was caused by the remnants of Hurricane Grace, another system and their combined form. The storm system produced tornadoes that struck Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. Tornado strengths are estimated by Mapped Doppler Imagery, or MaDI (mad-ee), and shapes are classified using the Azurian Tornado Classification Index, or ACTI (ac-tee): https://i.pinimg.com/originals/de/09/5f/de095f98e945ed1ec7c2fce298abcd39.jpg

>> Abilene, TX

Taylor wip 33.1 km Massive wedge tornado. Formed south of Merkel. Struck Dyess AFB, lifting fighter jets and large military aircraft. Passed through several suburbs of Abilene. Dissipated over Hamby. This tornado reached a peak width of 1,200 meters, and swept away dozens of well-anchored homes, and lifted an apartment building 120 feet into the air as it disintegrated. Numerous vehicles were found wrapped around trees, and a bus was thrown 1,600 m.
EF5 SW of Pollen, OK Shaw wip 33.1 km Colossal wedge tornado. Formed southeast of Pollen, as an EF3. It strengthened into a 200 mph EF5, sweeping several foundations clean in Pollen, OK. Remaining consistently roughly one mile wide, it swept through Pollen: The Pollenite’s Grand Mall was severely damaged, a bus was thrown into a home, where it still sits, and aradio tower was collapsed into a construction site. Damage was observed more than a mile from the tornado’s visible funnel, to a Jade Roadhouse whose roof was thrown onto a neighbouring gas station. The tornado even tore a 5-ton anchored TITUS from its moorings and carried it for 2 miles. Fortunately the occupants of the vehicle, including rookie storm chaser Michael Sharman, were unharmed, as was the vehicle. It later dissipated south of (insert random town name), OK.

Response

In the opening days of the outbreak, the Oklahoma system spawned the Pollen EF5. Knowing the complex would strengthen drastically, the NWS and AMS expanded the EF scale, proving useful: The Abilene EF6 reached windspeeds of 347 mph, and the Columbia, Missouri RF5s hit speeds of 320 and 318mph.
