It was June, 8, 2021 when clouds over Miami Beach started to darken. People started seeing clouds over a mile away from land start to swirl. Then, a funnel appeared and touched down 30 seconds later. It was starting to bare down rain when the fast moving waterspout came to shore. It wasn't long until Reed Timer a storm chaser who was staying at Fort Lauderdale on a hunt for waterspouts came to the massive twister which just got onto land. The tornado which was a EF1 at the time was blowing sand and umbrellas everywhere. It was heading towards Downtown Miami and it was tossing parked cars like toys. As it first hit the city part of a skyscraper blew into the road killing 9. The tornado created a separate smaller tornado to that spun over to the port but then dissipated. The main twister is now a EF3 and caused a small skyscraper to collapse killing 22. People were hiding from the strong vortex in cars and alley ways in between skyscrapers. If you were in a city alley, there would be rocks, glass, dirt and sand flying around you. As the tornado moved on from the city it collapsed one of their largest towers which caused a huge dust cloud to blow into the city which made people not see the twister. The tornado was heading over to the airport which had to ground all planes and everyone had to be on the first level of the building. People were all fearing for their life. they also were sending some texts to relatives saying how they might not come home. As the buildings started to shake, a plane wing flew into a large window. a truck carrying luggage flew to where the people were but the stone walls stopped it from hurting people. But the back of the truck opened and there was suitcases flying everywhere and then a few ripped open sending underwear, and socks flying across the room, but then windows started to break and chairs and other debris started to fly and that's when people knew the tornado was hitting the building and at this point the top level of the building completely blew off into pieces and a plane caught fire which lit up the gates. It looked like something out of a war scene. The tornado went away from the airport as a EF5 and is moving close to the suburbs. It was dying and now a high EF4 as it hit the suburbs. It is quickly slowing and dying and when it hit the homes by the shore it turned into a rope tornado. As it hit the beach one last time it quickly faded and disappeared at 3:51 PM. It was the worst tornado in not just Miami, but Florida's History. It killed 220
